Parapluie

The short-lived spate of cold weather over the week (SEE: temperatures equivalent to an English summer) sent me thinking about what I place on my wishlist for this upcoming Winter.

What first came to mind was 'stockings' - an obsession I have developed over many years. In fact, my obsession with stockings/tights has become so compulsive, I have found myself buying pairs of the same patterns and colours, simply to have another pair in my drawer! Actually, I am anxiously awaiting another pair to come in the mail...

I have also been on the hunt for the perfect Winter coat! Most of them are far too long for me to wear - if I were of a 'normal' height I'd have accumulated a plethora of coats now. But alas, the short ones suffer, yet again! Scarves, berets, ushankas, gloves, boots... Winter is bliss!

Edit: I forgot to mention this, but happy mother's day! I bought ma mère a heated therapeutic massager, since she's always getting joint pains. Hope she likes it when I give it to her! (Unlike other presents...).
